    About:

    Michelle Becker founded Profit Builders in 1994. As the president and Chief Executive Officer, she oversees the company model and executive-level decisions as they relate to team culture and clients. Prior to founding the company, Michelle gained valuable experience as an accountant and senior budget analyst for a large restaurant chain and worked for a software company installing accounting systems throughout the region.

    Michelle is involved with Habitat for Humanity, several Catholic organizations and company initiatives to help the underserved in the community. She enjoys spending time with her two sons and daughter-in-law as well as boating, golfing, hiking, traveling and college basketball.

    About:

    Aaron Becker joined Profit Builders in 2009. Today, he has a dual role as the director of the Payroll division and the IT department. Overseeing the Payroll division requires ensuring the Payroll staff is supported and ongoing service to clients is maintained and improved upon. Overseeing the IT department involves maintaining all current internal and client-facing systems. He is also responsible for the research and implementation of new internal systems.

    Aaron is involved with the Salvation Army, Open Door Ministries and Habitat for Humanity. He also serves on the Technology Committee at his church. Aaron enjoys spending time with his wife, Olivia, visiting Table Rock Lake for boating and relaxing, and playing golf.

    About:

    Betty Herbert has been serving Profit Builders since 2008. As the director of the Accounting division, she works directly on accounting for clients and managing the accounting staff, including hiring and development. Additionally, Betty coordinates the refinement of accounting processes for current clients and for the process of on-boarding new clients. Prior to joining Profit Builders, she worked in public accounting (primarily as an auditor), was an accounting manager for a healthcare group and was a controller for a pilots’ association.

    Betty is involved with Stephen Ministry and the sanctuary choir at her church. She and her husband enjoy spending time with their three adult children and two grandchildren.

    About:

    Steve Schmidt joined Profit Builders in 2017 as the director of development. In his role, he is one of the first points of contact for prospective clients, and Steve enjoys both learning about their businesses and discussing how Profit Builders’ services can help. He develops proposals and begins the implementation process. Steve also serves on the leadership team. Prior to joining Profit Builders, he worked in public accounting, served as a Chief Financial Officer for several different companies, has been a shareholder and has owned a franchise.

    Steve is on the boards of the Mental Health Association of Central Kansas and Maize Park and Tree. He is involved in various ministries through his church as well as company initiatives to help the underserved in the community. Steve has a wife of 30 years and three adult sons who have all recently been married. With his wife, he enjoys biking, walking, yoga, traveling and experiencing life together.

    Jeff Timmermeyer has been serving Profit Builders since 2008. Within his role as a senior accounting manager, he is responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations with a focus in the restaurant vertical. Jeff also serves on the leadership team. Prior to joining Profit Builders, he worked as a supervisor in the accounting department of a local bank.

    Jeff is involved with Habitat for Humanity, Open Door Ministries, wear blue: run to remember and coaching youth sports. He also serves on the Finance Council at his church and is involved in other parish activities. Jeff enjoys spending time with his wife and three children, playing basketball and golf, working out and traveling.

    Angie Blasi joined Profit Builders as a senior accounting manager in 2018. She is responsible for overseeing deliverables to clients and ensuring accurate and timely financials. Prior to joining Profit Builders, she was a senior audit manager for a CPA firm.

    Angie serves on the Finance Council for her church. She has previously been involved with Habitat for Humanity, Kansas Food Bank and Bishop Carroll High School. Angie enjoys spending time with her husband and three children, going to the ballpark and reading.

    About:

    Amanda Coleman has been serving Profit Builders since 2011. In her role as a senior accounting manager, her primary responsibility is ensuring that client financial reports are issued accurately and in a timely manner. She works with the Accounting and Payroll teams to improve processes and frequently works with clients in the non-profit sector. Prior to joining Profit Builders, she worked as a tax accountant for a public accounting firm.

    Amanda is involved in her church women’s group and volunteers as an organist. She enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters, playing the piano, bicycling, crafts and cheering on the K-State Wildcats.

    Mike Ludlow originally joined Profit Builders in 2008, working until 2014. He rejoined Profit Builders in 2020 and currently serves as a manager for the Payroll division. Within his role, he ensures all deadlines are met, and processes are as efficient as possible. He also demonstrates the payroll platform for future clients.

    Mike is involved in the community through Habitat for Humanity. He enjoys golfing, traveling and spending time with his wife and their two daughters.

    About:

    Jami McFall joined Profit Builders in 2007 and currently serves as a tax manager for the Payroll division. She oversees the client payroll tax payments, files the monthly, quarterly and yearly client payroll tax returns, and handles the daily Automated Clearing House (ACH) files.

    Jami is married with two daughters. She enjoys attending her children’s activities and sporting events, browsing Pinterest, completing crossword puzzles and reading.
